I believe we are here on Earth for a reason. We all grow, we all learn, and hopefully we all take the opportunity to love. Some people go through life not caring to know their reason for being, some know their life purpose from a young age, and then there are those of us who must experience life's ups and downs to finally figure out what our life purpose is.
I have had many of those ups and downs. Thankfully, I have finally figured out my life purpose.
I am loved, and I am very blessed in all aspects of my life. I'm married to my soul mate and together we have awesome children who bring us wonderful adventures and challenges.
A couple years ago, I could not see any of my blessings; all I saw was darkness and anger.
I experienced divorce. I watched my best friend, my Dad, die of cancer. I endured severe post-partum depression. I held my sweet baby girl, lifeless in my arms. Depression was an ongoing battle.
I feel compelled to share my story; not because I want sympathy, but because all of those experiences brought me to today, to who I am now, and to where I go in the future.
It has been quite a journey for me, this path of healing. I worked very hard to forgive myself and those around me. I worked hard to develop a healthy and positive relationship with my children and my husband. I took control of my life and of my own happiness. I know that I deserve all of the blessings that life has given me, and so does my family. Thanks to the Angels I am filled with light once again, and I have goals and dreams. I try to live every day as altruistic as possible. At the same time, I maintain and value my own self-worth.
Now it is my turn to pay it forward and help others with this gift that God and the Angels have given me; the gift of listening without judgement, of having an open heart and an open mind, the desire and drive to help others, and the life experience to go along with it.
No one should feel alone, no one should feel they have nowhere to turn, and no one should be without hope.
You are not alone, you always have somewhere to turn, someone to listen to you, and hope needs to be eternal.
